I am looking at some Fagor pressure cookers (4 qt) but the cost of replacement rings is ridiculously high in my opinion - 1/3rd the cost of the cooker.  Looks
like they are following the lead of razor and printer manufacturers by making money on the consumables.

Was wondering if I could use maybe Manttra seals on Fagor or some other brand?

			<description><![CDATA[ I need to replace the little gasket on the air vent on my cooker but I can't see how to dismantle it to put the new gasket on (Presto, the manufacturer, sells the gaskets, so I assume there is some way to do this). Has anyone ever done this? If so please tell me how. I cant even see how you'd get the air vent assembly out of the lid let alone dismantle it.<br><br>Thank you. ]]></description>
