I just bought a new Kuhn Rikon pc ( #3918 ) and the manual states the first red line appears at 0.4 bar (5.8psi) and the second at 0.8bar (11.6psi) and emergency vents at 1.2 bar (17.4 psi).
I found this website extremely useful in helping me select a cooker (especially the rebuttal of the Jan '05 cook's illustrated review) but there is no mention of the Kuhn Rikon cookers by Miss Vickie operating at this sub-standard pressure. I chose the Kuhn Rikon over the WMF for this reason.
Am I understanding these pressure rating numbers incorrectly or was this vital piece of information left out from the entire website?
