Hi krizem, you may not be getting much feed back if that brand isn't in wide spread use. Fissler simply isn't that well known in the US. Other brands
are more popular because they are more widely available, or heavily marketed, or their pricing is very attractive.
My own experience is limited to the one occasion when I helped a friend get started on her first experience in pressure cookery with with brand. From all appearances it looks like a good, solidly built pressure cooker, and German engineering is usually a very good indicator of quality. |

Hello Krizem,
If you have a chance to get a Fissler pressure cooker you should. I was given a Fissler pressure pan as a gift and I love it. I was unsure about pressure cooking in general at first but after using this pan I am hooked. It is very high quality stainless steel, good looking and easy to use. Even my husband, who DOES NOT cook has started cooking with the pressure pan. He said that it is so easy and cool he just can't resist using it. Happy Cooking! Cookiegrrl |

Tefal's Clipso with 2 Pressure Settings, comes in at 0.5 bar (7.25psi) and 0.80 bar (11.6psi).
I just found a foodie news blurp:
SCANPAN Denmark, has terminated their distribution agreement with SCANPAN USA Inc., the sole distributor, and is turning over exclusive distribution rights to HWI USA Inc. effective July 10, 2008.

I own 2 different sizes Fissler Pressure Cooking pans and one Pressure Cooker. Own them over 30 years. I purchased them when I we lived in Germany, found a
place here in the USA to purchase gaskets. Did not have to do it that often.
I used to use my Pressure Cookers more when all my children still lived at home, now since it's "just the 2 of us" I don't use it that often anymore.
The first Fissler Product I ever received was a regular Frying Pan, that was 42 years ago. The pan is still used a lot and is still in very good shape. |

I just bought an 8-liter Fissler Blue-Point for 159Euros online. I've used it 6 times and like it a lot.
