Does anyone have the recipe from the manual for cooks essential electric pressure cooker titled "golden turkey breast"? It is absolutely delicious.
I last used it at Mom's and the book is misplaced. My daughter is finally getting to come home "for Christmas" tomorrow and I really want to
cook it for her and her husband. Can anyone please help? Thanks so much!

prep time 15 min cooking time 40 min. under pressure ingredients salt pepper 4-5 pound whole turkey breast, wings removed, rinsed under cold water and dried 2 tbs. vegetable oil 1 cup thinly sliced onion 2 garlic cloves, crushed 1 1/2 C carrots sliced thin 1 1/2 C celery sliced thin 1 cup broth 1 cup dry white wine 2 tsp. dried thyme 1 bay leaf 1 tbs. cornstarch 2 tbs. water liberally salt and pepper, heat oil in pressure cooker using the brown setting. insert the breast and brown all sides. remove and set aside. Add onion garlic carrots and celery. Brown until the onion is soft. Add broth, wine, thyme and bay leaf cooking for 2 minutes. place the breast back in the cooker. Cover and set to HIGH pressure . Cook for 40 minutes. Release the pressure using the quick release methd. Unlock and remove lid. remove turkey and place on plate cover with foil. Filter the liquid. pour it back into the cooker with the cornstarch and whater, whisk until thick. season to taste with salt and pepper. Slice and serve with the gravy. ENJOY |
