Ok, now on to my question. Is there any advantage to buying small? I am a single person, don't like a ton of leftovers, blah blah. However, I do want to cook beans, in fact that is the main reason for this purchase. Knowing that, would anyone say that a 4.5 quart is plenty big for 2 quarts of soaked beans? Can I fit a couple artichokes in that size? I will probably get that WMF despite some mild gagging over the price.
And if Miss Vickie happens upon this, can you please tell me exactly which stainless little bowl you recommend for inserting and cooking brown rice? Thanks

Please post just the URL link to the article you want to cite, or write your own summary if you want to include the additional info, that way we don't get the usual legal eagle request to remove it.
Thanks for understanding, Miss V.
