I have Miss Vickie's book on pressure cooking. I saw in there that as far as cooking times go, 12 pork chops will cook as fast as one pork chop. I
understand this, as pork chops are seperate pieces of food. My question is: for example a roast. If the recipe says a 3 pound roast should be cooked for 45
minutes (just an example) if you were to only use a 2 pound roast rather than a 3 pound roast, do you decrease the cooking time to 30 minutes (not 45). So in
other words, food that is one solid piece needs to be cooked according to number of minutes per pound?
This probably is a dumb question, but years ago I tried using a pressure cooker and I didn't have any success at all and I eventually stopped trying. Now I am trying to my pressure cooker again and I am just trying to make sure I have everything going OK.
Thanks,
Barb
