While reading the instruction booklet, I noticed a chart that said the pressure cooker only gets up to 10 PSI, but in another spot in the instruction booklet, it says it goes to 15 PSI.
I called Fagor directly and was told if the appliance was manufactured in China, it is a 10 PSI model, and if it was manufactured in Spain, it is a 15 PSI model. They said they were sorry for the typo in the booklet.
Just my luck, the one I have, was manufactured in China. Since I have the lesser model, I am contemplating returning the product to the place of purchase.
I have read a great deal of the information on this site, and it seems not only will the cooking times have to be adjusted, but there may be a loss of nutrients as well.
I was looking for other thoughts and opinions before making the return.
Thanks!
