need manual for Prestige pressure cooker |

I bought my Prestige pressure cooker in the UK, I did not get a manual, just a book of recipes. I am not sure if slow release means leave it alone or use the quick release valve, which is slower than putting it under the faucet.
Can anyone help? emilia |

hey emilia i wrote a long reply before registering and once i had it disappeared :o( slow release does indeed mean leaving the cooker alone without the heat
on. with soups and stocks it really lets the flavours mingle! fast release is turing the valve and letting the steam stream out - it may be a bit slower than
sticking it under running water but not by much!
