The prime rib is considered one of the most elegant cuts of beef, and if you are going to spend the money, you most certainly want to prepare it to the best
of your ability. Now there is nothing wrong with using a pressure cooker, if that's your intention, but the results may not be quite what you expected. The
preferred method of preparing a prime rib roast is dry heat roasting. When you add liquid or cover the meat, that is called moist heat cooking, and it is best
used to tenderize tougher cuts of meat.
